Our rail fence quilts are pieced and quilted with good quality cotton fabrics. Made to be loved and used, the quilts are all cotton with a polyester/cotton batting so that they're fully washer and dryer safe.

Our rail fence quilts are pieced from strips starting at 1-3/4" in size and using many, many different prints, giving them the traditional scrap quilt appearance. The strips are sewn together then cut into blocks. Arranged to make the rail fence pattern, the blocks are then sewn together to make the top. Thus, there's alot of piecing and cutting time in each quilt.

We only stock lap-sized rail fence scrap quilts. However, you can order larger, or smaller, sizes. See the custom quilts page for a general guideline to available sizes and pricing.

NOTE: The picture shown below is an example of the finished look of the quilt front. Since these are scrap quilts, the fronts will vary some in appearance from quilt to quilt.

NOTE: The pictures below represent the backing fabrics of the scrap quilts currently available. If you really want to see the specific front that goes with the backing fabric, contact us and request a picture. Typically, our quilts are unique - there is only ONE of each listed quilt available.

Select only from the fabrics that are NOT marked "FQs only" or with less than 2 yards left because in those prints there isn't enough fabric left for the back of a quilt. Make you sure add the name of the print you've chosen when placing your order. If the shopping cart does not give you an option to add a message, then send us an email with the print name.
